PC solid sheet

The transmittance of solid sheets can reach up to 89%, comparable to glass. UV-coated sheets do not yellow, haze, or deteriorate in transparency when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the transmittance loss is only 10%, while PVC experiences a loss rate as high as 15%—20%, and fiberglass has a loss rate of 12%—20%.

Characteristics of PC solid sheets

Transmittance:

The transmittance of solid sheets can reach up to 89%, comparable to glass. UV-coated sheets do not yellow, haze, or deteriorate in transparency when exposed to sunlight. After ten years, the transmittance loss is only 10%, while PVC experiences a loss rate as high as 15%—20%, and fiberglass has a loss rate of 12%—20%.

Impact Resistance:

The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic sheets of equal thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. Even when a 3Kg hammer falls from a height of two meters, there are no cracks, earning it the names "unbreakable glass" and "ringing steel."

UV Protection:

One side of the PC sheet is co-extruded with an anti-UV coating, while the other side has anti-condensation treatment, combining UV protection, heat insulation, and anti-fogging functions. It can prevent UV rays from passing through, making it suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits from UV damage.

Lightweight:

The specific gravity is only half that of glass, saving costs associated with transportation, handling, installation, and support structures.

Flame Retardancy:

Confirmed by the national standard GB50222-95, solid sheets are classified as Class I fire-resistant, or Grade B1. The self-ignition point of PC sheets is 580℃, and they self-extinguish upon removal from the flame, burning without producing toxic gases and not promoting the spread of fire.

Flexibility:

Cold bending can be performed on-site according to design drawings, allowing installation into arches, half-circles, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet, and it can also be hot-bent.

Sound Insulation:

Solid sheets offer significant sound insulation, outperforming glass and acrylic sheets of equal thickness in sound insulation. Under the same conditions, solid sheets provide 5—9dB higher sound insulation than glass, making them the preferred material for sound barriers on highways internationally.

Energy Efficiency:

They keep cool in summer and warm in winter. Solid sheets have lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, offering better insulation than equivalent glass by 7%-25%. The insulation efficiency of solid sheets can reach up to 49%, significantly reducing heat loss in buildings with heating systems, qualifying them as eco-friendly materials.

Temperature Adaptability:

PC sheets remain resilient at -40℃ without becoming brittle and do not soften at 125℃. Their mechanical properties show no significant changes even under harsh environmental conditions.

PC solid sheets applications

Products are widely used for exotic decorations and pavilions at parks and amusement areas, interior and exterior decorations of commercial buildings, curtain walls of modern urban high-rise buildings, transparent containers in aviation, motorcycle windshields, airplanes, trains, ships, cars, speedboats, submarines, and glass riot shields for police and military, telephone booths, road signs, billboard advertisements, exhibition displays; instrument panels, control panels for high and low voltage switch cabinets, and military industry applications, walls, ceilings, room dividers, and other high-grade indoor decorative materials; noise barriers for highways and urban elevated roads.

Economical light transmitting panels

The company produces a variety of handmade proportions of steel tiles, glass fiber reinforced plastic and pipe, glass fiber reinforced plastic products products are not afraid of water, not afraid of rust, not afraid of acid, alkali, salt corrosion.

General light transmitting panels

A 20-micron thick Melinex 301 film from DuPont USA is laminated onto the surface, conforming to the national standard GB/T 14206-2005.

Insulating light transmitting panels

Especially suitable for chemical plants and warehouses applicable. In the non-ferrous metal smelting gas serious environment than color steel tile life extension more than 3 times.
