Hollow sunshine panel

Also known as PC Sunlight Panels, Sunlight Panels, Polycarbonate Hollow Sheets, and Glass Polycarbonate Sheets, they are made primarily from high-performance PC engineering plastic-polycarbonate resin, with the addition of UV inhibitors and other chemical additives. PC hollow sunlight panels feature high transparency, light weight, impact resistance, sound insulation, heat insulation, fire retardancy, and resistance to aging, but are not acid or alkali resistant. They are a high-tech, comprehensive performance, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly type of plastic sheet.

Transmittance: Transmittance of 80% to 90%, will not yellow, haze, or lose clarity when exposed to sunlight.

Weather Resistance: The surface has an anti-UV co-extrusion layer that prevents UV-induced resin fatigue and yellowing, ensuring long-term weather resistance. The surface co-extrusion layer absorbs UV radiation and converts it into visible light, stabilizing photosynthesis in plants.

Impact Resistance: Impact strength is 250 times that of regular glass, 30 times that of acrylic.

Fire Retardancy: According to national standard GB8624-97, it belongs to the fire-retardant Grade B1, with no dripping, no toxic fumes.

Temperature Tolerance: Can be used within a temperature range of -40°C to +120°C.

Lightweight: Weighs approximately 1/15th of glass of the same thickness and can be cold bent directly, simplifying construction, making the construction quick and convenient.

Installation: PC hollow sunlight panels are very convenient, fast, and practical to install and fix.

Flexibility: Cold bending can be performed on-site according to design drawings, allowing installation into arches, half-circles, and windows. The minimum bending radius is 175 times the thickness of the sheet, and it can also be hot-bent.

Sound Insulation: Solid sheets offer significant sound insulation, outperforming glass and acrylic sheets of equal thickness in sound insulation. Under the same conditions, solid sheets provide 5—9dB higher sound insulation than glass, making them the preferred material for sound barriers on highways internationally.

Energy Efficiency: They keep cool in summer and warm in winter. Solid sheets have lower thermal conductivity (K value) than ordinary glass and other plastics, offering better insulation than equivalent glass by 7%-25%. The insulation efficiency of solid sheets can reach up to 49%, significantly reducing heat loss in buildings with heating systems, qualifying them as eco-friendly materials.

Temperature Adaptability: PC sheets remain resilient at -40℃ without becoming brittle and do not soften at 125℃. Their mechanical properties show no significant changes even under harsh environmental conditions.
